Hoosier Trim Products Expands with New
Equipment
New 300-Ton Press Gives Indianapolis Fabricator
Advantages Over Local Competitors
October 1, 2006, Indianapolis, Indiana - As a part of their
growth and expansion plan, Hoosier Trim Products
(HTP) has purchased a 300-ton stamping press to expand its metal fabrication services. The press has a platform bed
measuring 90" left-to-right and 48" front-to-back.
HTP's new stamping press has the
capability to produce large parts, such as doors, flat panels, inserts,
sections and hinges, either flat, or with multiple bends. The new
press can produce pieces with dimensions up to 45" x 30"
or larger.
"Our new press gives us the ability to serve more industries, with
more product fabrication capabilities," stated HTP's president Bruce Dufour. "Presses this
size aren't available everywhere. This gives us a distinct
advantage over a lot of our competitors in the area, to be able to produce parts
and pieces that others can't."
